Fezeka is the only black high school offering classes in Xhosa, Sotho and Tswana. As a result, the school is bursting at its seams and turns away over 300 students each year. Currently the school has 1,777 students with up to 70 students per class. |

Classrooms are in constant need of repairs
Our goal
Build eight permanent classrooms to replace the current portables. Together with furnishings, it was estimated to cost R1.5 Million or Cdn$300,000.
Accomplishments to date:
A building contractor in Cape Town started building on August 25th, 2003 and we have completed the classrooms, which are currently being used. So far we have raised over $250,000 Cdn. through individual donations and varied fund-raising efforts. Cdn$35,000 is still needed to finish paying for this work.
